Yes, the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) results have been released today, Thursday, January 9, 2025, by Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba at Mitihani House in Nairobi. ​​


A total of 965,501 candidates sat for the 2024 KCSE examinations. ​​


Notably, 246,391 students achieved a mean grade of C+ and above, qualifying them for university admission. ​​


However, results for 840 candidates were canceled due to examination malpractices. ​​


To access your results, follow these steps:


1. Online via the KNEC Portal:


Visit the official KNEC results portal: https://results.knec.ac.ke/.


Enter your 11-digit index number and your name as registered for the KCSE examination.


Click the 'Submit' button to view your results.


You can print or save a copy for future reference.




2. Note:


Unlike in previous years, the SMS result check service has been discontinued. ​​


Official result slips will be accessible through the examination centers where the candidates sat for their exams.
